Based on one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese Literature, Outlaws of the Marsh is a reimagined version of the tale. The world visually combines the peak of the Song Dynasty with an advanced vision of technology—an ancient future.
For the cover, a font with long serifs and a touch of whimsy was chosen to compliment the Chinese characters in the upper right corner—the titles speaking to the modern and traditional aspects of the story's world.
